Facilities

  • Fully equipped kitchen with full sized electric oven, microwave oven and 118 litre refrigerator.
  • Sleeps six in two bedrooms with a queen size bed in one and two double bunks in the other.
  • A modern bathroom equipped with a shower, loo and ceiling mounted heater.
  • Efficient slow combustion wood heater keeps the whole cabin cosy warm – plenty of dry firewood in attached shed and log splitter supplied. A child proof fire guard is available – Phillips head screwdriver in kitchen drawer.
  • Outdoor undercover gas BBQ.
  • Outdoor fire place with cooking gear (camp oven, frypan and hotplate) provided.
  • Woollen blankets, doonas and pillows supplied – sheets, additional pillow slips and towels are available for $12 per person.
  • Cricket and other outdoor games available at Platypus Cottage.

Pricing & Terms and Conditions

$150 per night for two adults plus, for each additional adult (12 years or older), $25 per night.

A deposit of $100 will secure a booking – payment details are on our Payments and Refund Policy page.

10% discount for seven day or longer bookings.

No charge for guests under 12 years of age.

Minimum of two nights stay.

Full payment required before arrival.

10am check out and 2pm check in – please contact owner if you need to vary this.

Please send an email with the dates & number of guests and you will receive a reply about availability.

Very important – after booking and final payment please do not leave home without receiving and reading an email from Two Styx about the key as the owner is often not onsite!
