Every time we visit we have a wonderful, relaxing time and our last trip was no exception. This was Alita’s second trip and I think my sixth, when you include the fishing trips with the two David’s to fly fish.
The country side looked spectacular after the recent rains, the paddocks green, the dam full, the stock well conditioned and the wildlife prolific.
Days were sunny and the nights chilly, with a light frost in the morning. The cabin was warm and cosy and we made a nice meal of one of the rainbow trout I caught, stuffed with some fresh herbs from the kitchen garden and BBQ’d in foil.
A very peaceful couple of days, lots of walking and took some nice photos of of the creek and waterfalls for Alita’s art work. We didn’t see or hear another soul the whole time.
