We really enjoyed our stay, the cabin was great. The only regret is that we didn’t get a chance to do any walks near the property because it was so wet. The cold was good, we both prefer 15 to 35 degrees and you can’t beat a real fire. So we’ll have to pay another visit and hopefully the weather will be better. Two Styx does seem to have its own climate because on most days once we were close to Waterfall Way the conditions improved, and we did some walks in Wollomombi and Cathedral Rocks NP in nice weather. The dodgiest time was when I saw on the map that we could do a ‘scenic’ drive from Wollomombi to the cabin via Kempsey Road and Forest Way in Two Styx; the Forest Way part was ‘interesting’ as it was slippery in the wet conditions but we made it through.
