We had a great time up there in Platypus Cottage … so much so we needed an extra night! The kids enjoyed fishing in the dam, although we only hooked one fish …. but the older two had lots of practice casting…! I think the fish in the dam are quite wise…!
One small suggestion was that a clothes airer or line would be good….as we got caught in a thunderstorm on the weeping rock walk (all part of the experience!) and needed to dry our clothes and clothes airer would have been good to set up in front of the fire.
Overall, we had a fantastic time, the cabin is set up very well and we will plan to be back again….next time we will book a longer stay!
